OECO’s expertise in the design and manufacture of autotransformers stems from
the manufacture of over 500,000 devices for Boeing, the former McDonnell
Douglas, Lockheed Martin and many others over the course of the last four
decades.
Size and weight are typically high priority considerations in aircraft
design.
OECO’s custom autotransformers provide more effective regulation and
leakage induction than a two winding transformer, making them ideal for
customers’ Alternating Current (“AC”) power distribution needs.
In
addition to supplying the commercial aviation market, OECO provides
autotransformers for many military and aerospace applications, including the
Lockheed Martin C-5 and Boeing (formerly McDonnell Douglas) KC-10 Tanker.
Typical sizes range from 1.2 VA to 5.0 KVA.
