its core capabilities, OECO expanded into its molded cable assemblies product
line to complement its magnetic and power supply business base.
The Company entered this business on customers’ request, given its
versatile electro-mechanical design resources and extensive experience with
various resin systems.
Only a few companies in the United States are able to produce similar
assemblies, as tight military tolerance requirements are a limiting factor for
most potential competitors.
OECO’s encapsulation knowledge is a distinct competitive discriminator
and has allowed the Company to attain sole source position on most of its molded
cable assemblies.
OECO
offers its customers design assistance and manufacturing expertise to ensure
high quality, complex custom cable assemblies that may be used for a wide range
of aerospace and defense applications.
OECO’s design engineers have more than five decades of experience
designing tooling and fixtures to support these custom designs.
