High Voltage Assemblies
OECO
has long designed and manufactured specialty custom magnetic devices required to
operate in unusual environments. The
Company’s high voltage assemblies are indicative of the effectiveness of
OECO’s technology at work. Representative
high voltage assembly products include assemblies that operate in a Silicate
Esther PAO (polyalphaolefin) environment, providing cooling as well as a high
dielectric constant. Due to these
characteristics, an extremely high voltage can be managed in relatively small
volume.
These
devices operate with a 10KHz pulsed input and generate a 12 KV output that is
used to bias a traveling wave tube in airborne radar applications.
OECO’s research into new insulation and core materials has allowed the
Company to design and manufacture custom high voltage assemblies and other
magnetic components that are keeping pace with the shrinking form factors of
other custom electronic assemblies for defense and commercial aerospace
applications.
